The studio is centered around its vintage console, the British built Dynamix 3000. Using many of the same types of electronic circuits as Neve boards, the Dynamix achieves a sound that is punchy, warm, and pleasant. This particular console was acquired after the unfortunate closing of Indigo Ranch in Malibu and undoubtedly, hundreds of fantastic recordings started with this board.

Another staple of the studio is our vintage 16-track Fostex 1/2″ analog tape machine. A perfect outlet for those artists that desire that vintage warmth and color. For the lo-fi fans, we also have an Akai 4-track 1/4″ tape machine.

We have an artillery of microphones suited for all types of sounds and situations, and we know how to use them. From crisp and clean, to fat and dirty, we believe in finding that perfect mic for the job.

In addition, there is a 1973 Fender Rhodes and a Fender Twin Reverb (Reissue) that are available for client use.
